Accessibility at Still

Being heard shouldn't depend on how you use a screen.

What we aim for

Still is built to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA across the site and the app. Concretely, that means: everything works with a keyboard alone; screen readers get real headings, names and roles (including on the mood wheel, which is fully keyboard- and reader-operable); focus is always visible; text and interface colours meet AA contrast; nothing depends on colour alone; and the interface respects your device's reduced-motion setting — the glow and breathing animations quiet down when you ask them to.

Where it stands

Every screen goes through an accessibility review before it ships, and accessibility fixes are treated as bugs, not requests. We test with keyboard-only navigation and screen readers as part of building each feature. If we know about a gap, it's on the list with a date — not in a drawer.

We aim to reply within two working days — and if the problem blocks you from your own writing, we'll treat it as urgent.

A note on voice

Voice input transcribes on this device — nothing you say leaves it. If speaking is easier than typing, the microphone is available anywhere you can write; if typing is easier than speaking, everything works without the microphone too.

This statement is reviewed whenever the interface changes materially.
